I'm slowly learning the value of a contractor

Day 1: Seriously rethinking the DIY mentality

Day 3: Changing all timeline estimates but too deep to stop

Day 7: Knocked out the pantry / laundry room so the family can eat with mostly clean clothes

Day (way longer than anticipated): Tile is coming down, and my knees voted to impeach me

Day "I can see a dim light in the distance": This thing might actually work

Day "a month later": wondering why painting and installing the trim added a week to the project

Day today: She's all done, and as you can see from the baby seat, already getting very dirty

Wow! That turned out beautifully! What a wonderful job! I bet you feel fully at one with this kitchen. It will be a real loss if you have to move someday. I hope your knees have not taken a permanent hit, and that you are getting caught up on your sleep. I bet Sarah loves her new kitchen. Good job, Danny!
